- Account information: Name, email, phone number, role (gabby, member, administrator).
- Synagogue data: Member rosters, billing records, donation history, prayer schedules, and related operational data provided by synagogue administrators.
- Payment information: Processed securely through our payment partner (Finix). We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
- Communications data: SMS and email messages sent through the platform, along with delivery status.
- Technical data: IP address, device type, browser, and usage logs.
3. How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Eshul platform.
- Process payments and donations.
- Send transactional messages (receipts, schedule updates, billing notifications).
- Comply with legal and tax-reporting obligations.
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse.

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with:
- The synagogue you belong to, for the purpose of administering your membership and donations.
- Service providers who help us operate the platform (payment processors, SMS gateways, email delivery, hosting), under strict confidentiality obligations.

5. SMS Communications
By providing your phone number and opting in, you consent to receive SMS messages from Eshul or your synagogue. Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe from any sender at any time. Reply HELP for assistance.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. We may retain certain records (donation history, financial transactions) longer when required by tax, accounting, or other legal obligations.
7. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights

Eshul is operated from the United States. Access from the EU and UK is currently restricted. If you access the service from another jurisdiction, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.
